KIDS PLUS -focus is to support the well-being of youth in our region, especially ages 9-15. As a community, our vision goals are: To involve youth at all levels of community responsibility, giving their input equal weight and consideration, thereby establishing and reinforcing their value as vital members of the community. Create programs, projects and settings that encourage, facilitate, and sustain community involvement. Provide opportunities to achieve diversified excellence. Support a variety of leisure and recreational activities benefiting all ages. Establish an environment that ensures personal safety. By supporting a variety of programs, we are able to continually incorporate our goals into what we do. We support After School Lounge, After School Enrichment Programs, Summer Kids Camp, Incredible Exchange, Mini Youth Grants, and Youth Leadership Trainings. KIDS PLUS  discount cards are sold throughout the county for individuals to show their support for our work and you will get great discounts! Look for the cards at local businesses. By working together to strengthen families and honor diverse cultures, the North Shore Collaborative strives to improve access for all our children to community resources and opportunities that promote healthy development. Collaborative partners support LOTS (Learning Opportunities Through Stories, an early literacy program), School-linked Mental Health Services, Text for Life crisis counseling, and the North Shore Trade and Tech Project.
