The Flute Reed Partnership mission is to foster stewardship within the community to maintain, restore and enhance the watershed health of the Flute Reed River.  We plant conifers along the river and regularly monitor the river’s water quality.  We sponsor free classes to learn about the watershed and caring for the river.

Twilite Ridge currently is in the 501(c)(3) process as an environmental/political group to represent Northeastern Minnesota at the Capitol to protect its natural environment. Twilite Ridge also plans to create a physical location in Cook County in which it will also serve  by contributing efforts to urban and woodland beautification.
